  • I’m smiling but I’m dying

While you’re ignoring, someone else is begging for her attention.

A round man cannot be expected to fit in a square hole right away. He must have time to modify his shape.

We say all these beautiful, hopeful and inspiring words to build other people up yet we can’t even find the right words to make ourselves feel better.”

Comfortable. I think that’s the key. When being with someone feels just as natural as being in your own company, except happier. It’s more intimate than that though. When there’s no longer any distinction between who’s body is who’s. Your arm, her arm, your leg, her leg; it’s all the same. I’ve never quite understood the use of the word ‘spiritual’, but I can’t think of a better word to describe that sort of connection. That’s love, I think. Or as close as I can come to understanding it. Not the heart-poisoning worship of a partner, described in so many classic novels. Just comfort. Complete comfort in another’s company.

“Do you know what’s the most painful thing in the world? It’s when you both love each other and yet you couldn’t patch things up. Where’s the pain? It’s when one decides to end it up. And the other has no choice but to give up.”

It hurts to love someone and not be loved in return, but what is the most painful is to love someone and never find the courage to let the person know how you feel.

A perfect relationship is not one without fights. But one in which they say “I love you” and mean it in the middle of a fight

When you love someone you protect them from the pain, you don’t become the cause of it.

Love has nothing to do with what you are expecting to get, it’s what you are expected to give, which is everything.

Sometimes we have to be away from the people we love, but that doesn’t make us love them any less, sometimes it makes us love them even more.

Hi dolls! Hope you all had a lovely weekend! Thanks for all your kind words about my dog. He had his surgery and they found nothing in his stomach. It turns out he has this thing called Drop Jaw. Basically his bottom jaw is paralyzed and he can’t eat or drink by himself at all. It some kind of neurological problem. It’s very rare I guess. Thankfully it’s not life threatening, we just have to hand feed him for a while. It usually goes away in a few weeks, some cases it does not but..I think he will make it through. It’s still super sad seeing him walking around like that..he’s very confused and frustrated. But he’s alive so..Im happy.

Has anyone been watching the Olympics? Have any favorite athletes? =)
